»Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ students and staff have access to the Chinese Periodicals Full-text Database, which provides comprehensive coverage of almost all the periodicals published in China between 1911 and 1949.

Users have access to download the full-text of around 10 million articles from around 20,000 different periodicals. These include periodicals covering popular culture, health, science, women¡¯s affairs, news and politics, business and economics, and literature and history.

The database provides the most comprehensive coverage of periodicals from this era and was developed by the Shanghai Library.

Accessing the database

Access to the Chinese Periodical Full-text Database is available on »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ campus only.

If you're accessing the database via a computer that is connected to the »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ network, then there is no login or password required.

If you're using your own device, you'll need to connect to the »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ wifi network using your zID and zPass. You may need to turn off your mobile data when connected to the »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ Wi-Fi network.

Guest users
