Anand has a bachelor's degree in Physics and a master's degree in Environmental Science and Technology from India. His master's thesis focused on rainfall rate estimation over India using hybrid machine learning algorithms. After his master's degree, he worked on a project between India and Russia at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal, studying the impacts of climate change on the South Asia extremes. At »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ, he aims to understand the interaction between the oceanic precipitation and ocean extremes in the warming climate. Outside my office hours, I love hiking, kayaking and movies.
