I am a clinician-researcher with particular interests in advancingÌýclinical ophthalmic practice,Ìýposterior eye imaging, and psychophysics.Ìý
I currently serve on the editorial board of Scientific Reports (Nature) and contribute regularly as both author and peer reviewer for several leading ophthalmology journals. My speaking experience includes invited presentations at local and international meetings for audiences ranging from researchers and clinicians to the general public, focusing on advances in macular disease care.
My research experience includes leading a wide range of study designs, including case-control studies, longitudinal cohort studies, randomised clinical trials, and systematic reviews with meta-analyses. On the technical side, my skillset includes coding in Python and MATLAB, as well as developing extensive automation workflows using custom macros. I am proficient in managing large-scale datasets comprising millions of images and hundreds of thousands of patient health records.
I'm always open to collaborative opportunities, particularly for projects involving clinical practice, imaging analytics, and psychophysical methodologies.
Our lab does have Ophthalmology and Optometry-based Honours, Masters, and PhD projects available. Please feel free to enquire via email.
