Here's how Shreya Gramle's passion for business took her on a journey from��Bangalore, India, to �ʹڲ�Ʊ’s Business School, all the way into a Commonwealth Government placement in Australia’s Capital Territory.

What began with online studies due to the global pandemic, transitioned to��on-campus learning in Shreya’s second year. While studying away from her home country of India had its challenges, Shreya built a network and circle of friends to support her in Australia.��

“The university campus was always bustling with activity, from social gatherings to professional events. Opportunities to connect with peers and faculty helped me develop a strong sense of belonging within the university community.”

Shreya took up other activities beyond the commerce classroom, such as��attending guest lectures, playing sport, and representing students on panel discussions during the Business School’s O-Week.

Shreya also became an active member of one of �ʹڲ�Ʊ’s 300 clubs and groups. There, Shreya took opportunities to connect and grow, engaging with a wide range of people, planning and hosting events, and developing leadership skills.

“Being a part of a student society was instrumental in shaping my personal and professional development."��

"Starting as a subcommittee member, I was later elected as the Vice President of the Professional Development team. This allowed me to engage with the wider business school student community, as well as academic coordinators, professors, and the Career Accelerator team.”
