Celebrating LGBTQIA+ people

Trans Awareness Week runs from 13-19 November and ends with Transgender Day of Remembrance on 20 November.

It’s a time to increase the visibility, celebrate the resilience and amplify the voices of trans and gender diverse communities. 

The week concludes with a day of community solidarity to commemorate trans lives lost to acts of violence and to the fight for trans and broader LGBTQIA+ inclusion and dignity. As allies, we can educate ourselves and those around us about what it means to be an ally@»Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ to trans and gender diverse people.
